NEW RESERVATION PROCESS FOR 2005! This year, DUG and the Marriott have teamed up to give you the opportunity to make your hotel reservations at the same time you register for the conference. Please visit the registration homepage to register for the conference and to link to the reservations page, where you may choose the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel or the Omni Shoreham, across the street, to make your reservations. You may also contact the hotels directly to reserve your rooms. Be sure to identify yourself as attending the Datatel Users' Group Conference to secure our special conference rate. The Datatel Users’ Group has set aside rooms at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. You are responsible for making your own reservations. Please do not delay as rooms fill up quickly!

An overflow block of hotel rooms has been set up at the Omni Shoreham. Be sure to mention the Datatel Users' Group Conference to receive the special $195 per night DUG conference rate. The Omni has recently been refurbished and is very convenient to the conference headquarters hotel. You may use their online form to make your travel reservations:

Below is a list of alternate hotels where you may decide to stay, although we recommend staying at our Headquarters Hotel, the Marriott Wardman Park, or our overflow hotel, the Omni Shoreham, for easier access to conference sessions and events.

The Days Inn is about 2 miles up the road from the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel and you can take the metro from the Van Ness stop to the Marriott. The Days Inn is 1.5 blocks from the Van Ness metro stop which is only two stops from the Woodley Park stop where the Marriott Wardmand Park Hotel is located. The Hyatt Regency Bethesda is also on the Red Line, four stops from the Marriott. Both hotels are on the Red Line, and are reachable from the Ronald Reagan National Airport Metro stop (via Blue & Yellow Lines).
