About the Datatel Users’ Group
The Datatel Users' Group (DUG) provides the opportunity for Datatel clients to share ideas, network with other members, and develop their professional skills. Members are encouraged to become involved with DUG through volunteer activities such as presenting conference sessions, serving on DUG committees, and/or serving as a member on the DUG Governing Board.

About the Datatel Users’ Group Conference & Expo
The annual DUG Conference & Expo, at National Harbor, MD just outside of Washington, DC, attracts over 2,000 higher education professionals. Datatel client members look forward to this Conference every year and the opportunity to come together to network with their peers and attend many of the over 250 sessions offered over a four-day period.

Throughout the four days, clients and Datatel employees present sessions on new product offerings; updates; industry related news, and best practices for using Datatel technology. In addition, there are engaging general and closing presentations and plenty of social events to entertain all attendees. The Expo Hall offers a robust assortment of Datatel partners, exhibiting products, and services that interface or work in conjunction with Datatel’s solutions. Exhibitors look forward to the conference as much as the attendees do.

    Guest Room Rate
    The 2009 conference rate for a standard room is $252.00 (single/double) per night plus 16% tax. Included in this guest room rate is a $10 per night resort fee (non-negotiable). This fee will cover complimentary local and 1-800 telephone calls for the first 20 minutes, in-room high-speed internet access, daily newspaper, designated complimentary in-room beverages, as well as access to the Fitness Center.
