For the tenth consecutive year, Datatel will be hosting an Executive Forum at the 2010 Datatel Users’ Group Conference & Expo. Tailored to address the unique needs of higher education technology and academic leaders, this all-day program will focus on raising enterprise effectiveness through continuity, convergence, and integration.
This year’s Forum is designed to give CIOs, CTOs, CAOs, and other technology and academic executives the information they need to be decisive and resourceful – the key components to meeting today’s economic challenges. Participants will return to campus better prepared to help answer the most pressing business questions, such as:
·
Are we prepared for the future of higher education technology?
·
How can we gauge the effectiveness of our learning management system?
·
Can we justify a return on our technology investment?
·
How can we break down institutional silos to take advantage of full integration?
·
Are we getting the most from our enterprise solutions?
·
Is there a better way to plan for our technology needs?

This is an ideal opportunity for your technology, academic, and administrative leaders to gather as a team to strengthen the institution’s resolve for effectiveness and success.
Special guests and members of the Datatel executive team will introduce Forum participants to the Enterprise Education Platform, an interconnected set of application modules that addresses both the administrative and academic needs of an institution – all within a consistent technology framework and architecture. Datatel will also share its technology direction and solution roadmap and offer executive-level presentations, discussions, and panels on intelligent learning, outcomes assessment, reporting and analysis, and retention management. At the end of the day, participants will have the framework necessary to bring key institution leadership together to create a thoughtful and comprehensive three-year plan for raising enterprise effectiveness.
The Forum will conclude with a special reception, providing participants the opportunity to network with peers, DUG Board Executives, Datatel executives, industry and research experts, higher education association members, and publication representatives.
